Every moment is discovery.
I paint because I have to. I feel electric and sharp. All the ideas flowing through. I'm one-on-one with the canvas. The white canvas is silent from where I try to awaken the shapes and forms- trying to express what's already there but unseen. My soul is my paintbrush. While creating I feel as if I'm playing in a field of all possibilities with the elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Time, Space. Impulses of my inner self give the elements direction. It's all very spontaneous, fast. The welling up and flow of life inside moves my arm and hands to unfold the color and shapes on the canvas. And the exhilaration created is part of the process. The joy of the process makes me want to paint again, and it all starts over again.
I use paint because I feel connected to it. The medium chose the artist. My mind is swimming in creative energy and I'm compelled to express that.
