2007 44’ MTI “Mercedes of Ft. Lauderdale”
This boat was custom built by MTI to resemble the Mercedes SLR Supercar. Many of the parts used in building this Supercar on the water are actual Mercedes parts. Over 2000 hours went into building this rocket ship. The boat has a top speed in excess of 185 MPH and a cruise speed of 130 MPH which makes the Mercedes boat one of the fastest pleasure boats in the world! The engines are as custom and exotic as the boat! They were built by Sterling performance which is the best when it comes to high performance marine engines. The engines are quad rotor dual Whipple charged fuel injected engines that produce 1,550 hp each with over 1,200 lbs of Torque. These engines were designed to run so you can idle and dock like a ski boat but then go out and destroy anything that comes close to it. Currently hold the world record from Florida to the Bahamas and back in 60 minutes 40 seconds.
